John is the head coach of the Lions 9U Black team. He has always enjoyed all sports; playing many of them as a kid, teenager, and even to this day. While playing, he enjoyed all the lessons his coaches taught him on how to be part of a team and knows the lessons are valuable still as an adult. He hopes that your daughters playing in this
John is the head coach of the Lions 9U Black team. He has always enjoyed all sports; playing many of them as a kid, teenager, and even to this day. While playing, he enjoyed all the lessons his coaches taught him on how to be part of a team and knows the lessons are valuable still as an adult. He hopes that your daughters playing in this organization will learn these lessons as well. Ultimately the team goal is to win, but first, they want to teach your daughter how to be a good teammate, that when they are out on the field they give 100% all the time, that mistakes are going to happen, and lastly how to be a good sport - win or lose.
When he's not busy with softball, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, doing anything outside, watching his favorite sports teams, and playing golf.

This is Nicole's third year as an assistant coach for the 9u team. She has had a love for softball and children since she was young. Some of her fondest memories come from playing softball games in her backyard and winning little league championships with friends. She enjoys helping girls learn the game of softball, watching them progress
This is Nicole's third year as an assistant coach for the 9u team. She has had a love for softball and children since she was young. Some of her fondest memories come from playing softball games in her backyard and winning little league championships with friends. She enjoys helping girls learn the game of softball, watching them progress along the way as they build their skills and confidence, and helping them make their own memories! When she is not volunteering with her daughter's team, she stays busy shuttling her three boys to their activities.

This is Joe’s second year as an assistant coach for the Lions 8U Team. He played baseball in his younger days and has since played fastpitch softball a few times over the years with friends and co-workers for fun. Joe grew up watching a lot of softball since his little sister played from a very young age and eventually went on to pitch at The University of Northern Iowa. He looks forward to working with the girls to grow not only as individuals but as a team.

When she isn't helping with her daughter's softball team, she is attending her son, Gavin's, baseball games or band recitals, her daughter Ashley's dance practices, or enjoying a little downtime with her husband Corey.
