Our Support
We value our community. Over the years we have participated in areas of social importance. With the help of our softball players, our program has provided blankets to animal shelters and children in hospitals, stuffed animals to BACA, Christmas cards to nursing homes, and provided HACAP with school and gift donations. Whether we are joining together to donate and support a cause/organization, supporting local businesses, or using our position to make our community a more inclusive and accepting place, we are always looking for opportunities to give back.

MyaStrong Foundation
Supporting Local Families and The Children's Cancer Connection
The annual Mya Strong Softball Tournament's namesake and CCC Oncology Camper Mya Gilchrist presented CCC Development Manager Jenny Harmeyer with a $10,000 donation! The 2022 tournament held in Marion had more than 45 teams and over 530 players. This gift will cover the cost of one cabin at Oncology Camp and one at Sibling Camp. Thanks to Mya, the whole Gilchrist Family and everyone who participated in the tournament!
The Lions Organization had five teams participate in the MyaStrong tournament in 2023 and we look forward to adding even more in 2024!
